Kids

The children’s practice at LVMA focuses on self-discipline and self-confidence.

Our instructors clearly state the expectations and help the children to understand through stories and examples exactly what it is we expect from them.  We train through constant support and motivation to help the students overcome obstacles in their practice of martial arts.  The instructors’ guidance and encouragement helps the kids to develop the self-discipline they need to not give up.  Proper and focused guidance is what helps the kids at LVMA to attain that non-quitting spirit.

Achievement is the key to self-confidence.  A child must be able to achieve both mentally and physically. Mental achievement or the ability to learn at a consistent rate is developed through concentration, attention span and self-discipline.  Physical achievement comes from consistent practice of balance, coordination, and strength.  At LVMA we believe that both mental and physical achievement are equally important.

Formal Martial Arts training is offered to children as young as 5 years’ old.

Lehigh Valley Martial Arts is also the home of Active Learning Center (ALC) - a preschool and before and after school child care center.  Click here to visit the ALC website.  Martial Arts training is included at no additional charge to children enrolled in ALC child care.
