Qigong
Qigong (ch’i kung) is a health practice that originated in China approximately 7000 years ago. The Chinese believe that Qi is the energy that makes up the universe and Gong means to practice. Thus, Qigong is Chinese Energy Healing that one practices on oneself.
The practice of Qigong is designed to balance and harmonize the energy of the body, mind, emotions and spirit. People come to the Qigong classes at LVMA to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Some have health problems such as chronic pain, others may depressed or have emotional grief, and others may come for stress reduction or simply relaxation.
Shifu Paul Miller, owner of LVMA, has trained directly under Master Chunyi Lin, founder of Spring Forest Qigong and has received his certifications from Master Lin in Level I, II and III of Spring Forest Qigong.
Shifu Miller is a supportive and caring individual and welcomes new students at our weekend seminars that occur multiple times throughout the year. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to relax, breathe, and learn.
